I would aim for half a dozen or a dozen. But I think that also depends on the price itself?
Finally it also depends a bit on the notebook itself. I would not go for a couple of "Leuchtturm" books, since I can get them almost everywhere I go. For the Tsubame Books I definitely would go for a dozen, since they are hard to get.
Added Tsubame A5 as another Japanese notebook choice. Several USA retailers are now carrying them mostly 30 or 40 sheets (that's 60 or 80 pages). Japanese stores have more choices: 60, 80, or 100 sheets. All are sewn binding with luscious paper for any type of writing media. Sharp lines, very little feathering or show through with fountain pens. Very similar wear and tear characteristics as the Apica but with different paper. Slightly thicker than the Apica with a "laid" pattern.
The Apica's are wonderful notebooks. I now use them almost exclusively for work as I can throw any fountain pen ink at it, and it will not ghost, feather, or smear.
You really need to show the actual sizes of these books, saying pocket size is not enough.
I'd offer them a dozen at a time, enough quantity and reduces shipping cost. Also a choice of graph, ruled or blank.
Hey all -- I'd be very interested to know how many of these notebooks members would be willing to purchase in a bundle to make a drop like this happen.
Drops are not feasible if shipping costs more than the product itself, which is often the case for single pocket notebooks. So, what's the magic number? (Hint: aim high...but only if you mean it.)
Realistically, we're talking about numbers like 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24...not 2, 3, 4, 5. I am happy to work on this if the poll keeps getting votes, but I want to set expectations appropriately.

I'd go for a dozen if the price is good. If it isn't a significant discount on the leuchtturm, probably not because of having to store and they are easy to get. But I would love 80 or 100 sheet tsunami A5, would jump at a chance for a dozen and would probably buy 2.
Added two Apica notebooks to the mix. If we can get a hold of a Japanese store or Apica directly, we may be able to seriously undercut the prices mentioned here. I've seen these on Rakuten for like $1.20 each. Would love to get Apicas into the country more. [Local Japanese markets may have them as well.] There are also blank versions with excellent paper that don't have the well-known Apica covers. I hope this doesn't derail your poll here- I've been seriously thinking of throwing up a similar poll. Another option may also be Clairfontaine's cloth-bound or staple bound books, which are similar in size and opening. They also take fountain pen ink very well.
Apicas are easily folded and placed in the back-pocket, slip into a computer bag with little room, or smaller ones can even slide in the cover of hard-back books without too much worry. Paper is thin, but no feathering and little show-through with most inks.
