Why would anyone want this? I'd bet prison inmates eat better.
Look at the ingredients: Maltodextrin - basically a sugar refined from corn with a very high GI index. That will give you a long and high spike in insulin.
Rice protein - an incomplete protein, meaning that it will have higher levels of some amino acids and lower amounts of others. Protein sources with different varying levels of aminos tend to balance out in your diet to form complete proteins, but this can't happen with a single source of protein.
Oat flour - nothing wrong here.
Vitamins/minerals - low amounts of synthetic and poorly absorbed vitamins. Just because you ingest 33% of the RDA doesn't mean your body absorbs that much. 100% RDA is also just the amount your should get to prevent micro-nutrient deficiencies, and usually below what would be considered optimal.
Oil blend - Canola oil is highly refined and high in Omega6 fatty acids. They don't list the EPA/DHA of the fish oil, so I would have to question the quality of that as well.
If you really want to drink sludge every meal, just make yourself a big batch out of better ingredients.

RonJamboI imagine people will want it because they're too lazy to actually make food from scratch for the same price.

RonJamboSome people who want this just want it because it's a cheap easy quick food. Some people just want it as a supplement. Others just want to give it a shot.
It's unlikely that someone eating ad-hoc will stumble upon a perfectly balanced diet, and while soylent has some problems I doubt that the average diet most people eats is as balanced.
About lysine, from the 38g of rice protein it's a bit of a gamble as to whether or not there's enough. Some rice has only 3% lysine, others have 5%. The latter would be right on the money, but there's no way to tell from the info I've seen.
