I have a *heavy* Holmris Milk standing desk at work. It's great. I stand all day, every day. One of the other guys uses a Varidesk Pro atop an Ikea desk. It should be noted that I'm able to stand at mine much longer, and with far less effort than he does because his Varidesk is so wobbly and light. If you're pounding the keys you'll really get the display shaking around, and you certainly can't lean on it. I'd love a standing desk for home but the Varidesk just wouldn't cut it for me. The Holmris is 5x the price of course, but if this is your first standing desk, you should be aware of difference.
