HAHAHHAHHAHA! Everyday Carry Roll Up. Really...Everyday Carry!!! Everyday Carry has become the new Tactical. Hold on while I unroll my wrap because I'm such a bad mofo I need to carry multiple knives at a time. $50 bucks too! So glad I didn't open this until now and got a good end of the workday laugh. Made from Ecuadorian Latigo leather too!! If only it was fine Corinthian leather I might pop on it. Who decides what to purchase and names this garbage, it must be from the J. Peterman catalog on Seinfeld with these descriptions. I can see it for the dude that needs to travel with more than one watch but the Everyday Carry moniker put's me over the edge. Sorry if I'm coming across as a jackass, just think this is ridiculous. Maybe I'll get one for toothbrushes.
stevefury68Awesome! If you decide to grab one email me your order # at service@allegorygoods.com. I'll throw in a little something extra. It's great that you were willing to look at it differently!
BurbinghardJust received the roll, really nice piece. It does not work that well for watches in my opinion, unless you tuck the strap into the slot (no luck with NATOs). Watches on bracelets should work fine. I personally prefer the watches to fit inside the slot rather than the strap. For sizing, it barely fits a 39mm case size. Maybe over time as the leather stretches it will fit better.
monnovalIt was designed with a watch collector as a custom peice and then ended up here. Obviously it depends on the thickness of the watch, but you should be fine. We accept exchanges for massdrop purchases, so if it doesn't fit your watches we can swap it out for some else.

Just received mine (in The Netherlands), it is a beautiful piece of leather, as usual by Allegory. I just miss the Allegory logo, this might have been forgotten?
I was not incredibly delighted, so say the least, to pay 22€ (!) tax for this one, a third of the value. Other vendors find ways to get around this, e.g. by changing the delivery value, but this is really off-putting - and certainly dims the experience of this otherwise fine piece!
Seems like this defeats the purpose of EDC...something discreet and accessible. I mean the roll is nice and all, but there is no way in hell I'm carrying my knives and pens around in this thing.
Ominus666We'd certainly recommend keeping items you may need at a moment's notice elsewhere. This is more for storage of a collection, or a deeper set of tools that you need less often but would still like to have in your bag.
Hi!
Is there any difference in the slots between this, and the 4/6 slot writing tool rolls that you sell on your website?
I have 5 pens I'd like to start carrying with me, so this 5 slot roll would be perfect, as long as the slots aren't super wide compared to a standard pen roll.
Thanks!
AllegoryGoodsNo worries. Ended up picking up one anyway. I like it! Used it for both tools and pens. Currently has pens in it - it's a little big for this purpose (can easily get two pens per slot), but it works fine. I may end up going back to using it as a mini tool roll (it's intended purposed) and find something else for the pens.
Anyway, nice product. Certainly recommended like all other Allegory things I've used.
An EDC roll like this is more of a "single item grab while going out the door" thing. I currently have two. My leather one has a brass flashlight, a WWI trench lighter, a copper flint, a gentleman's folder. brass compass and couple of high end pens. This is my office EDC. My "jeans" EDC pouch is a tool belt pouch with similar items but of the cheap/disposable type. This one is intended to put around when I am not going to the office and gets attached to my belt. Both get things off my pockets and make transfer between pants a one step thing.
To give everyone some ideas, when I carry mine it has a precision screwdriver and bit set, a small needlenose, a lock pick kit, survival fire tools, a couple water purification tabs, and a short length of Paracord. So some emergency prep and some tools for when my multitool won't do the job.
It's also good for keeping your collection stored and organized.
Thanks,
Chad
Hey all! We've gotten several requests for information on where our tool roll can be purchased since Drop stopped carrying them, so we've built them into our new website here. For anyone that already has one, we'd love it if you dropped in a review, too!
