These are my first MT3 key caps. I put together my first entirely custom build as a reward for learning how to touch type properly and am going to buy the other LOTR sets to put together more themed keyboards for each one.
I love the way the keys feel but I am however disappointed on how long they took to receive and how they fit in my keyboard and that I didn't receive two of the art keys that are shown.
Some time ago I ordered the basic MT3 Elvish set and I decided to save a bit by not getting the accents, mostly because I was not sure how much I would like the set. It happens I loved it.
Now I am here ordering the accents to complete my Elvish experience. No real complains about it, other than they are a bit on the expensive side and they could include some more keycaps (eg. Home cluster). This extra kit could be part of the basic one, even if that would mean a bit of extra cost.
Caps are very tall (which doesn't bother me) and don't come with the numpad. Very expensive for the average keyboard enjoyer but only worth if you're a fan of LOTR.
Keycaps are great but the packaging has much to be desired. Their all just set up in rows, and it's hard to tell which keycaps go in which row or to tell from a glace that you have all the keycaps. You have to count each individual one to make sure none are missing. (Stuff like this has happened to me before, luckily none were missing in this set.) That said, they keycaps themselves are great. Not a massive fan of the MT3 profile but I'm willing to put up with it for the novelty, I just probably won't be using them 100% of the time.
