Product Description
Driven to make ultralight backpacking more accessible for everyone, we teamed up with Klymit to create a full-size sleeping pad with a great weight-to-performance ratio at an incredible value. The result is the Static V UL pad, designed for camping in warmer weather Read More
This pad was reasonably comfortable for a year or two. However, I took it on a 5 day trip down the Grand Canyon and it delaminated at the junction of the valve to the body on the first night. No more Klymit or Drop gear for me.
I took this pad on a 5 day backpacking trip in the Wind River Range. The pad packed down very small and only weighed 12oz. It performed as expected. I was pushing it's R value as the lows for the trip were around freezing. I supplemented the minor insulation by putting my extra clothes underneath the pad. I could feel the cold come through a little but this method worked well enough.
I have both the single non-insulated and the double insulated versions and both are excellent. No issues with rips or leaks and unlike some other pads I’ve had theres little-to-no overnight air loss!!
I usually use a 1/2” closed-cell foam pad underneath for added support + insulation in cold weather.
Inflation & deflation is fast and easy.
This replaced a $35 Amazon pad that was 1/2 the size and twice the weight - couldn’t be happier!

Really lightweight and easy setup and take down
Great mat. Easy to set up and stays inflated. It took me about 20 breaths to fill it up. I took away a star because I feel like it is a tad narrow - might need another inch on the sides. But it did fit my 5'3" high perfectly. And I wish it had a but more back support but this is the case with ANY blow up mat and I put something under my legs and that helped. I bought another one for my husband. I wish there was an insulated option! Also when you deflate it, it totally deflates flat. So many other mats still hold air which takes up space in my pack.
JkimbostonI got the double / long version for myself (180lbs/6’2”) and couldn’t be happier - it’s bigger and a little heavier but so worth it to feel like you have a queen bed in the woods!
I followed some tutorials to cut the extra unneeded length off, and reseal it with a hot iron. Still holding air! I prefer a wider pad so this won’t be my go-to, but it’s a great value and comfortable.
Very impressed with the mat and jullie. Not only the tiny size and weight are super But it even sleeps ok on the side which is always a struggle for side sleepers;)
