Great all in one cooking pot, bought the cozy which took it to the next level, cook, put it away in your bag sealed to eat once hydrated and/or cooled. Nice multi functional item for not a bad weight.
I have the 1 liter titanium Bot and love it! It weights a littler over 5 oz and is a sweet ultralight item. So cleaver, I can’t believe no one else it doing it. I haven’t had any experiences where the lid was hard to deal with or any issues with it at all. I have cooked with it over open fires when I didn’t bring a stove and it held up just fine, just some soot build up is all. Works well with stoves also. Overall I am very pleased with this as a cooking pot/water bottle!
i probably am not using it to its full potential since i am not outdoorsy. probably overkill as a commute mug to hold anything i drink. doesnt have insulation so its not really something you would keep coffee hot with. very resilient though, has not stained, or kept any taste of drinks or food that i put in it and no smell either.
Hot meal? No problem. Cold soak? No problem. Best of both worlds!
I’m old school and prefer an alcohol stove. I pair this up with a Toaks alcohol set up and it has worked very well with my home made dehydrated meals. I’m able to fit my stove, stand, windshield, lighter as well as Sea-to-Summit X-Cup inside, pretty much everything! On occasion, I’ll cold soak and it has never leaked. One time, I sealed the lid before letting it cool... Pro-tip (err newbie error), never ever do that. The air will contract and make the lid very difficult to remove. Always flip lid unless cold soaking.
Extremely thin material which undoubtedly contributed to the wobbly issue. Sure titanium is strong but not when it's this thin. For the serious ultralight packer only. I prefer more robustness.
Summary
I won't be using it for backcountry camping unfortunately. Pots are already unsteady on little gas stoves when their bottoms are flat and given how light it is on top of that makes it a disaster waiting to happen. This pot's job will be delegated to storing things in my garage. What a waste and what a disappointment.
Drop support so far isn't offering any good options either. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
I have taken the vot on five different multi-day backpacking trips and I love it! It is the perfect cooking container for a lightweight hiker. My only complaint (and this is a small one) is that the o-ring could be a little bit tighter to the lid than it currently is. Other than that this is a flawless piece of equipment!
