I recently got this headset, and wow is it good. My only issue is when certain people talk on discord, I can hear a really high pitched ringing. I fiddled with a bunch of settings, computer audio and discord, and nothing seems to solve the issue. It is primarily if not all in my right ear only. Is there something wrong with my headset, or was that ringing always there I can just hear it cause the headset is THAT good? I haven't had any issues with any other application, though I have yet to test if I can hear the ringing on a different version of discord, say on my xbox instead of my pc. Only other issue I've had is occasional static, but I can't tell if it's from the headset or the show/game/etc.

Key findings (all my opinion):
- Paint on the IEMS (Both triple & Quad) is of low quality. If you, like me, use them every day and tuck them under your shirt, the earphones will hit each other and damage the paint in a matter of days (see picture).
- The microphone is horrible (Mainly triple, but also quad). Inside, the microphone is usable. If you use it on the go, or while moving (cycling and the likes), the quality is dreadful. They're also very susceptible to wind noise. Some of my callers actually hung up the phone thinking the call died.
- The cable is not replaceable, but for both counts: it is a very strong cable. The braided wire of the triple is good, the kevlar one of the quad is better.
- The delivered tips are ok, yet not great. The foamies tend to live not so long (couple of months). Tip rolling is hard, since the size of the muzzle is huge. However, the t500 size from comply works, if you struggle a bit around.
- The sound quality is quite marvellous. The quad supersedes the triple in the lower bass and the far highs, and the soundstage is a lot wider. Mid-bass is more present on the triple. I always listen with foam tips, which will affect the sound.
- Generally, i'd go with the triple. This is very enjoyable sound, they're quite cheap and the quad delivers more, but not THAT much more.
- Info: The quad has a hooked 3,5mm and the triple has a straight one. I know this matters for quite many people.
- Sidenote: The Xiaomi's are also pretty good. In my opinion the only true competitor is their top model (Pro HD i think it's called). This one costs about 20-30 USD. A good alternative from the same factory if you're in doubt. It does sound a bit sharp at times in comparison with the 1More's. The triple is certainly better in my opinion.
Edit: Added a picture where you can see the paint damage. The triples are quite new since the first pair got stolen. They were used daily for 1 year and a couple of months at that point and still working fine.
Also yes. Frankly pound for pound the in ear headphones pro hd are the best. They aren't quite as good as the triple drivers for smooth highs and mids but they are really pretty good for that price nonetheless.
