I'm in for a silver one at this price. I've been looking for a nice case for my S60-X RGB build & even though this will obscure the under lighting I think it will fit the build nicely. I have it in a Pok3r case right now anyways.

Rob27shredI don't think case offers anything noteworthy over a stock Pok3r case to justify purchasing.

WaahYou are right that it doesn't offer anything beyond what a stock Pok3r case does. What does offer me though is the ability to replace the cheap plastic case i got as a placeholder with my 60% build & also allows me to put my Pok3r back in it's proper case. At a pretty decent price for an alum case too.

Rob27shredIf the subpar tolerances don't bother you much, sounds good.

WaahDo you have one of these cases & is the tolerances really that bad for an alum case at this price? I mean honestly if the gap between the plate & the case is even all the way around, I'm sure taking the time to center the board well when installing it will make it look fine. Which wouldn't bother me to much from the pics I've seen in this thread showing the gap. Now if it's tighter width or length wise, &/or the gap is not square that would be a deal breaker for me.

Rob27shredYup, have two. Looking to get rid of the red one that I never ended up using. I think if I never saw something like a Tex case, the gap would not bother me. It's just bad in comparison, if that makes sense. I did not experience issues you've stated though. And honestly, it's not like we only ever look at our boards straight from the top either. The view from an angle always helps things look better. Heck, could probably have a custom plate cut to cover the gap.
Tex would cost about twice as much for better tolerances plus better screw-in feet. Marginal gains at that point, hah. All-in-all I'm probably over-exaggerating the flaw; it's just a pet peeve for me with keyboard cases.

WaahWhere are you from? How much do you want for that red one?

WaahI can understand where you're coming from. We put a lot of hard work & care into our builds, we want everything to be as perfect as possible. I'm just in need of a half decent case right now though & this fits the bill for me even with the flaw at it's price. If I had the money to do so I probably would go with a TEX or iQunix case instead TBH.

metr1xxCONUS! I'm waiting for for a better opportunity to organize a proper sale to post on the /r/MechMarket subreddit though. Got too many keyboard things to offload! Haha.
