Not for bassheads... I am a basshead. I got mine yesterday and while they are incredibly comfortable I feel like the sound is overall better from my $100 Sony MDR-7510s. I did hook them up to my Bravo Audio v3 and that improved the sound immensely, but even after adjusting with the EQ I just don't feel the sub bass. I know these are open back so it's a characteristic of this style, but can anyone recommend a set under $500 with a wide sound stage, and SUPER clear, clean, LOUD sub bass? I listen to a variety of music but while I work I like to crank some EDM and I need the bass, man!

internetpartyWait for the fostex thx00 drop again, get either the purple hearts or mahogany. Best bass in the price range and they respond to EQ well if you want to really give yourself a head massage

internetpartySearch the bass port Mod for the 702/Q/ xx whatever. It is reversible. Idk about warranty though
