Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

The poll a few weeks ago kind of suggests to me otherwise that the next rendition of the K7XX's will have the colored rails and inner rings that would finally make the black edition 'limited', but I'm not really all too sure. It is kind of a lingering thought in my mind though.
Watch them make pretty pink and white ones that will make me cry
I voted for blue as my number one choice because I really liked the blue color of the original K702 annies, and hope AKG may be fine choosing that same color. It also comes with the potential gimmick of confusing all your headphone friends when they might see your K7XX's and go "Are those the annies?" The only things that would set it apart are the colored rods/stitching, and the font lettering on the inner cup, which I much prefer over the original annies (small details, yes I know).
Red isn't bad either though. My second choice would have been perhaps a light pink or white, but I do understand why the former wouldn't be too popular, and the latter is kind of an already-too-common minimalist color scheme (yay Apple).
But it's as you say -- nothing wrong with just plain black. These still look just as sexy as ever. I would not be upset at all -- especially since it gives us some variety.
