most audio devices won't have enough power to drive higher impedance headphones. Although 62ohms is not too too much to drive, but you might want the extra boost to make your headphones perform in its optimal level.
its like you're trying to pull a trailer with a corola and a pick up truck. The corola will still get the job done, but it wil be struggling, but a pick up truck will perform with ease and efficiently.

got a question - what speaker sound i look for -passive or active to go with the DAC/AMP how would i connect them ?
could you recommend some speakers 2.0, 2.1 , what would be more suited passive or active?
if i go with the active would the external amp cancel the internal amp in the speakers im a bit confused

ESSAactive speakers basically means it has an amp built into it passive doesn't... if you have an active speaker... you technically don't need an amp....
I personally have a set of KRK Rokit 6's plugged into my steignberg UR22...... I guess your input source (aka your computer or audio device) goes into the input and it comes out of your dac/amp into the speakers?
I got too lazy to get myself some cables so i just do a headphone out into my Bravo Ocean....
I once had it going into my Aune T1 -> Ocean ->headphones.....that sounded great BTW....
As for speakers Yamaha HS5's? HS7" and even 8's? My KRK's are good but it misses the sparkly highs i like..... head a lot of good things for the Audioengine A5's as well
These are all Active speakers. I don't know much about speakers, but these are what I recommend and they look great.... don't forget the looks haha
