Pictures from the back please. How am I supposed to see how it attaches to my belt, how wide it is, etc.? Such a basic thing like taking pictures of the front and back of something should be automatic when selling online.
Hey sorry about that. We are working with Drop now to get these up there. In the meantime, see attached:

Overall, really like the kit (left a detailed review in the Reviews section). Was really hoping I'd be able to drop a G2X (1" body, 1.75" bezel) in, bezel up, and have the holder grip onto the bezel... but no dice. Really needs to have a pocket clip to hold the light to the sheath, regardless of bezel orientation. No fault of the product that my light doesn't fit well, obviously. I knew going in that was a distinct possibility. :) Looks like it fits most of the lights I'd been considering upgrading to, so I'm sure I'll get some use out of it. @BlueTom totally take your point about putting a pocket-clip light in a holster. It's a little silly. 1" light's a bit uncomfortable in my pocket, though. Belt pouch of some kind lets me step up to a full-size light, from a mini-AAA pocket model.

To: American Benchcraft: In the comments below someone says that instead of saying the holster is "compatible" with "flashlights up to 1.75", it should say, "Compatible with belts up to 1.75" wide." You replied, "Jeez, good catch! Thanks for pointing that out!" So OK, the Description is wrong (again), so what is the maximum diameter flashlight the holster will hold?
(Edited)
BlueTomYes, the description needs updating. Unfortunately, we don't get to write the description, Drop does, and they made a few errors. They are human. We are working with them now to get it updated. Appreciate your patience on this. As for flashlight fit, flashlights have so many slight design variations that we can't just give you a generic diameter to go off of. We have to test the fit in person to be sure. We can only recommend this for the flashlight models we have personally tested (see attached). I can say that all these models range in diameter from 3/4" to 1".

BlueTomThanks for catching that. We updated the description.

What size belt can the unseen attachment point hold? Most edc belts can be much wider than dress type belts. 1”-2” for example. Can we get a pic of the back? How does this attach to your belt, Leather loop, metal or plastic clip? Seems like something important to leave out?

NomadHey, we are currently working with Massdrop to get this all uploaded. In the meantime, see attached images. It will fit belts up to 1.75" wide

Can I use this for EDC folding knives?
(Edited)
MebaruHmm, we haven’t tried it for that yet, but certainly seems like it could. It would definitely depend on the knife though.

MebaruYou totally can! A pocket clip will be necessary. Insertion requires a little finesse to engage the clip, but deployment is simple and intuitive. You'll want smooth handle scales - a Delica or Griptillian can fit, but the grippy FRN on these models interacts poorly with the holster, and will inhibit a smooth draw. I will see if I can find the time for a photo shoot with some common examples.

I fail to understand how a configuration of a flashlight barrel matters in determining maximum diameter. O.75 inches is 0.75 inches, regardless if it's a smooth barrel of a black flashlight, or the largest ring on a convoluted diameter pink Paisley barrel. Length and head size might cause a balance issue, but whether something fits vs. whether it works well are two different things. Ask my wife.
TGP389The simple answer is that a flashlight barrel diameter between 0.75” and 1” will fit technically fit in this holder. However, if the clip isn’t oriented down and it has a flared head, it won’t work. If the clip is flimsy or doesn’t have a substantial radius to fit over a thick piece of leather, it won’t work. If the base of the light has a flared diameter, it won’t work. ...etc.. The fact is, there are numerous design features out there that will affect the fit or function of this holder, therefore we can only guarantee it for the models we’ve tested.

AmericanBenchCraftThanks, and I can understand your inability to guarantee fitment of a flashlight you haven't tried. Like I said, just because it fits is no guarantee it will work.

Haha totally get the mall ninja aspect of this product. But actually it's practical for my work which requires that I have my torch with me at all times. Currently taking up one of my limited work uniform pockets so this will free up valuable space! Plus it's compatible with the PD35 so I'm in!

So, will it fit an 18650 light? Like the Maratac/County Comm Ultra V2 or similar lights?

Well, diameters seem to match....works for me.
xen0bladeOnly thing to be wary of is the clip on the maratac light is oriented in the opposite direction and the flared part of the light may not fit through
