Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 5/4. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Can of Worms Vinyl Figure by Andrew Bell and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 5/5.

Been a vinyl figure collector for over 6 six years now and Andrew Bell was my first. I absolutely love his stuff and consider myself a die hard fan. I have a few rare (one #1 signed print of 25) and his circus punks from way back when. I think the problem here was simply getting the word out. I didn't hear about this drop (or Massdrop for that matter) until I received his newsletter a few days ago. I would hit up the vinyl subreddit and contact a few other vinyl blog/news sites to spread the word if vinyl is going to be a new category for Massdrop. I really hope it does and I'm really happy with my purchase.

I don't think it's fair to say people aren't a fan of vinyl toys here based upon one item. This is merely a very boring design that has a quite niche audience.

Similar? Sure. White & Black compared to Grey & Red. But all colorways are similar to some extent or another. http://www.deadzebra.com/projects/dead-zebra-x-bic-plastics/ Still, unless you were able to grab the DeKorner exclusive, first released at WonderCon (3/29-3/31) in Anaheim, CA, I for one don't have anything similar to it.

Hey folks, as you've expressed, we think this is an awesome drop but we are still relatively unknown in the community of Vinyl figure enthusiasts. We are working with Travis over at Urban Vinyl Daily to get the word out about the Albino Edition (http://urbanvinyldaily.com/).

This is a great Massdrop, but apparently Massdrop users aren't vinyl art collectors and/or simply aren't familiar with Andrew Bell. http://deadzebra.com I think he's most commonly known for this Android mini collectibles. that's how I got into his stuff. Though since, I've bought an original drawing and sculpture as well. This white one will go great with a signed & numbered Black on Black edition Can of Worms I bought in late December. http://shop.deadzebra.com/can-of-worms-black There's some still available too. It's be a real shame if we don't hit the minimum. It's only 10!?!

Your_HIGHnessYes, but Vinyl toys such as this are HAND PRODUCED. Making an even coated Vinyl toy in this quality is a very hands-on process.

They are then hand-trimmed and hand painted before being cleaned and boxed. You only get the highest quality on these drops and lesser quality toys are destroyed..

Your_HIGHnessMany items on Massdrop are made in China. Most of the DAC/amps and PC peripherals (mice and keyboards). Hardly fair to single out this 100 run item for that.

Can we get a Massdrop Special Edition of an Android figurine from Andrew Bell?
Or maybe a set?
I am a big fan of his work and can of worms I have a few, but would love an Android/O-No-sushi/Last Knight/DealMaker special edition a bit more. However, this might be one of his most limited colorways for a vinyl under $100.
Can we get a Glop in a Bloc?

chilofthehornHey @chilofthehorn, we can definitely work on getting some of those. If you get a poll going with the figures you're interested in most, that will definitely help us work with the artist and distributor(s).
As for special editions, that is definitely the direction we want to see this go. We just need to build the community to the right size and talk to the right people!
