I as many others received duplicate packs. As Leafpiefrost also describes, it's not an isolated incident. The data pack missing are also the same one all across the board. So this was very deliberate.
I, like at least 9 or 10 others, received a duplicate pack instead of the full cycle that was advertised. When those affected brought this to Massdrop's attention, they stood by their supplier, saying they believed it was an honest mistake. Only about 30 people took part in the drop and 1/3 have come forward with this identical complaint. Shipping errors happen, but not to 33% (at least) of your orders. The truth is clear. The supplier never had the full cycle but chose to advertise that they did because it's obviously easier to sell the full cycle than a partial one.
Yes, I got a partial refund for the duplicate pack, but it's shameful that Massdrop is choosing to defend a supplier that actively deceived customers. If Massdrop chooses to form relationships with dishonest vendors it becomes difficult to trust Massdrop as a legitimate marketplace. And you can't do business with someone you don't trust.
