Found this mic because I watched JayzTwoCents. Nice discount on Massdrop, so even with shipping to Netherlands, its still cheaper. Really glad that tech Youtubers like Jay, are using and advocating use of Massdrop. Adds popularity on Massdrop, which makes it easier to get a drop started and done.

TostiTostelliDon't forget added taxes at our customs. This will add approx €21-, raising the total amount of your purchase to €58.61 in the Netherlands. Massdrop should open an European branche for us Europeans to take full effect of its low prices. I'm ordering this now, because the modmic is hard to find in Europe. In general most drops are more expensive because of the added taxes than regular online stores.
Taxes specification: Inklaringskosten (€13.-) + 21% BTW (€7.91) = € 58,61

SlowburnerI'm from belgium and that was my only fear but still cheaper then the original site I guess. Oh and if you would by it from the original site, would you also have to pay the customs?
I was one of the first who bought, have been waiting for some time for this one to drop!

SlowburnerThat's exactly why happened to me today: I received a letter from Postnl (the Dutch postal service) which noted that I had to pay an extra €21,15 ($23,68) to pick up my package. Thanks for the explanation!

Fraise33Yup, the best rule of thumb is to assume everything from outside the EU has extra costs: above 22€ you have to pay BTW and above 150€ you also have to pay a separate import tax on top of the BTW. And then there's also the cost that the shipping company charges for dealing with customs (which is about the same amount that you save with the drop).
I'll probably will still join the drop when I get home though
