So my watch came today and I'm actually very pleased with it. The photos really don't do it justice - I was agonising over buying it intially because it seemed to have a great feature set, but it looked a bit cartoonish in the photos with the overexposed lighting. But in person it's really nice - masculine but not flashy, definitely not formal but not too casual either, and built to last (the weight takes awhile to get used to). And the colour is great - it's a darker and more understated blue than the photos. With a nice leather strap it would definitely work for a business casual setting. It's a keeper for me for sure, but I'd reeeaallly advise ArmourLite to take some new photos in more realistic lighting, because this watch deserves it.
OCoelhoPretoohh man, don't make me regret not buying it...does it seem like a good everyday watch? I'm worried about it getting messed up on a camping trip or motorcycle riding. Does it seem sturdy?
OCoelhoPretoI got the black dial with green / orange lume on a previous drop. It's my daily EDC, has taken a beating, and still looks good. Most commercial "dive" watches last 6 months - 1 year for me.
Once again an ArmourLite watch that has Swiss movement on the dial, but no declaration of Swiss made. That declarative statement can only be made if very strict standards are met. Massdrop must stop advertising watches as Swiss made when they do not meet the standard for being such.
When were these watches made; last week, last month or more than a year ago? How is one to know that these watches meet the standard for being certified Swiss made? Do you provide a certification to that effect with each watch. This is the second such watch of your brand that MassDrop has offered with the same questionable provenance. I think it is a questionable tactic to sell watches that can't carry a Swiss made certification as being Swiss made because they clearly were not so certified when produced.
remydaisyRemydaisy, as we stated before, these dials were made about 2 years ago. You have our word that these are indeed Swiss Made watches. If you won't take our word for it, I'm not sure what else we can do for you.
If I'm not mistaken 2 years ago the requirements to carry the name Swiss made was you have to have 65% of the parts made in Switzerland in order to carry the name I'm aware that the requirements have changed since then but at the time of production this was indeed authorized to carry the name
Josephivory65Yes, but since we have distribution in countries throughout the world, we needed to make sure our dials were properly labeled for all countries the watches would be sold in. The bureaucracies involved are quite a head-spinner!
How new are these? I mean when have these been manufactured? Asking this because it it quite important with tritium watches that tritium has not been active and decaying few years allready :)
Hi treal512, the T25 tritium has a full life of about 25 years and a half life of about 12.5 years. When you want to get the tritium replaced, we offer a service that replaces all the tubes on the dial (and hands if needed). Another thing to consider... on the watch dial the tubes are much more visible that on sights since you're looking at the full length of the tube. Rest assured, the tritium on this watch is plenty bright!
I have the mid-size (39.5mm) ISO350 with T100 markers. I have had several watches with the T25 markers and they seriously start to degrade at a bout the 12 year mark - 25 years of illumination is a gross overstatement. The T100 markers might last 25 years - I'll post again in 24 years, lol.
Many companies do not offer replacement. I had a Luminox field watch and after many years the markers were no longer viable. I contacted Luminox and they said they no longer offered markers for that watch (They would replace the whole dial, not the individual tubes). The "Ball Watch" company will replace the tubes on their watches - but they are one of the few with this service.
BoxofweaselsArmourlite offers tritium replacement. I wouldn't purchase from anyone unless I were certain I could have it replaced in the future.

Still waiting for something like this with T50 or more. I have a 10 year old Luminox with T25 and it's really decaying fast. A T50 would now be as bright as T25..
I didn't know there was such a thing as T50? I ordered an ArmorLite Ember which is T100. I paid $310 for the blue dial and Titanium bracelet. It's due to arrive hopefully in the next month. It is a very plain looking watch that you can checkout on this site. I don't know if there will be extras available when the drop ships. That is something I have though about for future drops. It's a bit frustrating to wait so long for the the drop to ship (drop ended 10/09/18) having also paid for the watch too.

stoutdogT25, T50 and T100 but T25 is most common. The higher the longer you'll enjoy it..
ArmourLiteStop tempting me! Seriously though, this is a great watch, three straps, not sure why this doesnt have more takers. I will definitely grab another armourlite watch at some point, hopefully a different model. But man, I may just weaken and grab this before the time runs out...
