This is a "chunk" of a wristwatch--solid and thick of case, but not overly heavy on the wrist. I purchased it because of its unusual features--that case, the heavy black numerals around the dial, the "cream" face--and it does not disappoint (I am wearing it as I type). Built like a tank, one might say.
I took off one star in my rating because I never could master taking off the band attached to the watch when it arrived (heavy rubberized material with dual prongs on the clasp end). I changed bands (it comes with an alternate) after a bit.
