Better steel doesnt make it more expensive?😂😂😂😂 Then why arent 1095 and S35VN the same cost for stock from knife steel suppliers? Why is M390 more than 440C? Why is it more than S30V? Why is Damasteel more than M390? Its better, cleaner, harder to make and harder on tooling, different processes involved in making and finishing, and therefore costs more. Thats any "upgraded" steel. I know more than you think, pal. It's just fun to watch you keep struggling and shifting goal posts while whining over a knife that's lower priced than the competition while trying to bring knifemaking into the argument which has ZERO to do with your original point.😆 Here's a tip: New knife company's, even from small hand made companies, sell for less to get into the market. Like I said, find a knife as big with the same materials used at the same price or cheaper. This is cheaper, cheaper by far than most other competitors while being a larger knife, and you're still whining and wanting to talk about cost while ignoring it altogether. Yeah it DOES matter if it's better priced than others with the same material. Go buy it full price on Artisans website or a knife retailer instead of here for less. The mental gymnastics and denial of reality here are unreal. I dont know about this allegedly, yet here you are ignoring industry practice and trends going back decades.🤔 75$ more for better materials on a 9 inch plus folder is a steal. That's reality.
