Named after a stealth, guided-missile destroyer ship from the United States Navy, the Zumwalt from Artisan Cutlery is a force to be reckoned with. Measuring 9 inches long, this streamlined folder sports a lengthy D2 blade that opens at the press of the flipper tab. To lock it, there’s a liner lock tucked inside the G-10 scales. The scales come in multiple colors, flat or curved, depending on your preference in the hand. (The curved version feels a bit more robust and full than the flat version.) D2 steel is used for the blade, which is relatively corrosion resistant and will hold an edge over time. The stainless steel clip can be positioned on either side of the handle for tip-up carry. Thanks to the ceramic ball bearing pivot system, the knife opens as smooth as the ship its named for sails the seven seas.
Note: At checkout, choose a flat G-10 handle in green, orange, or black, or a curved G-10 handle (+ $8) in black or black/gray or Carbon fiber (+$12). Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we can only ship this knife to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
