Can we get confirmation that this is the improved version? The original had a design flaw in the head causing damage to the emitters.

Well mine finally arrived yesterday. Since it seemed my ship date was behind everyone else I was holding out hope that MD would be quick to correct the mistake and I would get the correct light...nope. I've done the same as everyone and popped off an email to MD and we'll see how this is resolved. This was my first Drop and it will probably be my last.

They are ripping you off, the M01 is only a $17USD light, big difference between a M01 and a S41S go here and us the codes for a real deal, http://budgetlightforum.com/node/48787

I'm very interested in this, but am also concerned on whether it's the newer or older version.
I'm not going to be buying until I know.

I'd love to join this drop but not until someone from Massdrop addresses the concerns to ensure that the issues from the previous drop has been taken care of and reassure we will get the right product count me out till then.

Seems they aren't caring for their customers much any more.
Havent purchased anything in some time now. still waiting on an item purchased 4 months ago, keeps getting pushed back.
Ill buy from somewhere else from now on...

I placed an order before looking at the discussion. Can someone from Massdrop please chime in on this issue? I have no interest in the M01. I need to confirm I will get an S41S. If I don't get an answer, I will cancel my order.

We are glad to bring the Astrolux S41S back on Massdrop again. There have been a few concerns about individuals in the last drop receiving the wrong flashlight. This was an error on the part of the vendor and our support team has been addressing the affected individuals. The vendor has assured us that this was a one-off that will not affect the current drop.

Not strictly true. I got a full refund & kept the incorrect Flashlight, due to the fact that I was an international customer. From receiving the incorrect light, to being issued the refund took less than two days.
