I owned these briefly when they came out in Japan 2 years ago - loved the clarity and high resolution - liked much less the missing lower bass tones. Not suitable for Hip Hop or Electronic music at all. The red A1000Z, even though missing the high-res feeling of its bigger brother A2000Z, is almost perfect. Bass reproduction was pretty accurate while the rest of the specter was beautifully flat.

laznerI own A2000z and I do agree completly with this. The A2000z don't have bass , but really good clarity and high resolution in the mids and high .

Someone at AT really loves their treble
