This headphone is shit. Muddy base and sibilant, metallic highs that make my ears want to leave. No soundstage what-so-ever. Very disappointing based on the reputation of these headphones.

CaseydiaI'm looking for some good headphones, what do you recommend instead? Are the V-MODA M-100 any good? I have the LP but they aren't that great, if I trade them in I get about 30% discount off the M-100, which would make my Wallet very happy ^^

ninjapantsNot sure what that guy is talking about, but I love these headphones. I've had them for about a year, and they're amazing.

ninjapantsGet some Superlux 668b($35) and replace pads with Luxpro ha30 leather replacement pads ($10 and a different headphone on Amazon). and you've got a pretty good budget phone. My 17 year old Son, also loves them. He has experience with many expensive gaming phones and he's used and is allowed to use any of my phones. Phillips 9500, M560, M1060, Senn Mix, Senn hd650, Akg 712 etc. He prefers 668b for most use. He's a gamer and the comfort and soundstage is really good. They do need some burn in. I just got another pair on Amazon and paid $4 for a really good four year replacement warranty that also pays shipping to and fro. These are great for anyone on a budget. MD, maybe you could offer these as entry level for 20 bucks. K?
