Pfe115"Used headphones for 25% of regular price. And they even used Windex"
Windex AND 91-percent isopropyl alcohol! Nothing but the best for us Massdr.... Drop members!
would it be so hard for the models to observe basic hygiene? I mean, I'm pretty sure they knew in advance they were going to have their pictures taken that day. It only takes a couple minutes to shave.
When you say things like they have “no clarity” and “no soundstage” it just sounds like you’re either a bit emotional or have have too much bias. If that was the case then they wouldn’t even be headphones.
To be honest with you, it sounds like you might have had a bad pair because I would say they have both a decent (actually pretty good) bass response, muddied mids, and decent treble.
They obviously aren’t a $500 headphone but comparing them to Sony XM3 or Bose QCII of whom own the market right now... their sound is great.
sacredrabbitPointing out that they have no clarity or soundstage is being emotional? Well, that's certainly a first.
I've had a pair myself and a few friends also had them. Unless they were all "bad pairs" then that isn't the case.
I never claimed they were $500. I don't have any experience with any other headphones at this price point but I would be stunned if there's nothing better than them.
Ray1235225So far very good. They sent a prepaid label and asked that I ship it back once the replacement arrives which is a policy I very much appreciate.
I've got no previous experience with B-Stock models. Aren't these models send back by the customer because they didn't like them or something was wrong? Or are they simply models they couldn't sell because of damaged packages?
I'm a little worried about receiving a damaged or worn headphone. Even though they're "Extensively tested and cleaned". However far that may go for Audio-Technica.
Anyone who can tell me more about this?
Just received these in the mail, and while they appear in good condition and do work, they smell strongly of cigarette smoke. It's a little disconcerting that this isn't something that was noticed. How do I go about getting a replacement?
I just don't understand why people like M50x, I tried once, sounds like trash to me. Being a "Beats-Killer" doesn't mean it's good. Anything can be a Beats-Killer. The standard is too low.
AngelofDeathTouring musician, work in the music industry (a custom guitar manufacturer), and have recorded in a few very well regarded studios and I think these sound pretty damn good for $130. Does that count for something? Maybe a difference of opinion?
I like them a lot, though I haven't had much experience in this space I am slowly learning more about headphones in general. I haven't tried them in a high fidelity environment, to be honest i bought them (along with a Yeti Nano) for gaming (as i couldn't get the mic to work with stereo bluetooth in Win10). I also bought them for airplane audio and iPhone audio. I found the iPhone BT audio to be lacking in overall volume but other than that are far superior to anything i've used prior.
No point shipping from the US with current exchange rates. 200 USD is already 282 USD, plus tax and then shipping made me about $20-30 savings only (with no local warranty).
TottiI'd recommend you get a pair of sennheisers 58x next. They are absolutely bonkers. They are versatile, can be used for gaming and listening to music and podcasts. You also don't need a dedicated amp or dac to drive. they sound great right out the box. Beats mainstream cans such as the audio technicas but keep in mind they are wired.
