The vendor was able to ship over half of the bulk order right on schedule. If you are part of this first batch, you will receive an email with tracking info by the end of day Monday.

A handful of orders are still being processed by the manufacturer due to the dying process taking longer than originally anticipated. They are in the final stages of the manufacturing process and the collections will be all put together by next week. Our vendor is expecting these remaining units to arrive to us by mid-March. The moment we receive confirmation regarding the shipping schedule from the vendor, we will provide you all with updated information.

We've been in touch with the vendor and they've informed us that production of the group's order is still ongoing and moving according to schedule. We will keep checking in with them as time goes on and update the group once everything is en route to New Jersey!

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Sketchbook by Sharon Holland Aurifil Collection and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.

As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 3/4.

I am somewhat concerned.
I have been billed on my credit card but have rcvd no confirmation of shipping.
I thought we were not charged until shipment occured

Payment occurs once the drop ends and before shipping. The vendor was able to ship half the orders out early with the second half, of which you were part of, to be shipped out on 12/11. Based on Heather's comment above, the group should be getting an update in a few days. Hope that helps!

Great news group! The vendor was able to ship half of the bulk order way ahead of schedule. Based on the tracking provided, these are scheduled to come in 11/17. If you are part of this first batch, you will receive an email with tracking info shortly after the individual orders are packed up and shipped from our warehouse.

All remaining orders are still being processed by the manufacturer and we expect these to ship ahead of the estimated ship date of 12/11 as well. The moment we receive confirmation regarding the shipping schedule from the vendor, we will provide you all with updated information.

Thanks for the update. Can you explain why we are charged for the item more than a month before you plan to ship it? That seems like a long time.

Rather than buying from a store that has already placed a bulk order and is holding stock to sell to you, Massdrop collects orders and payment up front that funds a bulk order of exactly what they need with little to no backstock. This is less risky for them because they already know that what they're buying in bulk is bought and paid for/sold. It also saves them money because they don't have to store large quantities of backstock in a warehouse. Because they've saved money and have lower risk, they're able to offer lower prices than a lot of other retailers. The "price" of getting those savings is that you have to wait for the bulk order to get to Massdrop and give them time to break that down into individual packages before it's sent out to you.

I have been quilting for 35 years, I have tried every thread under the sun. When I recently started using aurifil for both machine and hand piecing I think it is the best thread ever!
I would love a collection of neutral Aurifil. Would that be possible?
