Each cone is made from 100% cotton in Italy, the family business’s home since its inception. Unspooling to 6452 yards (or roughly 65 football fields, i.e. enough to keep you busy for a good, long time) the 50wt thread is the finest weight that Aurifil produces, making it perfect for quilting detail and other precision work. No matter what application you’re after- be it hand piecing or machine applique- the 50wt thread never breaks and always showcases a nice, silky sheen.

If you are using the thread with a sewing machine, it runs smoothly and never clogs your device.
