Italian for “dawn,” Aurora was founded in Turin at the end of the First World War. Indeed, it was the dawn of a new era for battle-weary Italy. That was 1919. Today, the company still occupies the factory it was founded in. And while much has changed over the last 99 years, the quality of Aurora’s pens has not. One of the newest additions to the company’s line, the Alpha fountain pen is a testament to Italian craftsmanship. The lightweight marbled resin body is available in three colors, which resemble an approaching storm, a clear spring sky, and a flickering flame. A textured chrome grip section and 14-karat white gold nib round out this visually distinctive pen, whose generous ink capacity rivals that of many piston fillers.
Note: At checkout, choose the black, blue/sky, or red pen. The base price covers extra-fine, fine, medium, and broad nibs. Oblique medium, oblique broad, double oblique broad, triple oblique broad, stub, and italic broad are available for an additional $45.
