What is SpaceFN and why you should give it a try
The SpaceFN concept - setting up your space key as a layer switch when held - is probably one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby. Let me explain how it works. The ship date of the drop was listed as 12/19, so even though the drop ended on 11/23 (less than 3 weeks ago), they don't ship anything until after they receive the bulk order and distribute it to purchasers.
That's the drawback of Massdrop.
You're not really putting in an order for stock of something like buying on Amazon. Instead, you're joining in a "group buy" where a large order is placed with a manufacturer to then be fulfilled. Massdrop will always list the shipping estimate they're given by the manufacturer in the drop description, but those aren't guaranteed dates.
That's why, for many, one of the considerations when joining a drop is whether the discount is sufficient enough to make up for not getting an item for weeks (or months) vs. buying with 2-day delivery on Amazon or the like.
