Ball is known for a wide variety of watch styles. The Engineer Master II Pilot GMT watch errs on the modern side of the company’s lineup. As is the case with many others in the Ball collection, tritium is used liberally throughout the dial—only here it can be found in the markers and numerals themselves, rather than just the hands. Adding to the depth of the dial is the granite-like texture and inner-dial display, which channels the worldliness of the watch. To be sure, it is worldly. In fact, it can track another time zone thanks to the GMT hand, and yet another with the bidirectional rotating bezel. A combination of stainless steel and sapphire crystals contributes to a water resistance of 100 meters—good enough to protect the Ball RR1201 movement inside.
