Traditional Methods
Made by hand at the Hoffman factory in Bali, these Batik fabrics are the work of master crafters and feature the traditional methods of wax stamping with a metal stamp, also known as a chop, and hand dying. Utilizing a cotton with a very tight weave allows them to get detailed designs that have crisp lines and vibrant color schemes.
Note: Each bundle contains 16 fat quarters measuring 18 x 21" each. At checkout, you will have your choice between color options Cockatiel, Hummingbird, Lorikeet, and Sparrow.
Environmentally Aware Fabrics
Known for their high quality bali batiks, Hoffman is a reliable brand with a time tested process that is environmentally aware. Their factory in Bali has a modern water-filtration system that returns the dye water back to it's natural pH level before putting it back into the environment. This process has been in place and operating daily for more than a decade and they are the only textile manufacturer of batik quilting cottons with this system installed.
