From Bear & Son, the Bear Swipe is an assisted-opening folder that deploys quickly, with authority—not unlike the striking paw of an aggravated grizzly. Measuring 7 inches long, the Bear Swipe is relatively compact, but the aluminum handle is substantial enough for a solid hold through taxing work. The blade has a heavy recurve, making it an excellent slicer—and the 14C28N steel construction means it will hold up over the long haul. Lockup is achieved by way of a stainless steel liner lock, and carry is best suited for right-handed tip-down positioning.
