If this is the same model as the last time it dropped it's the A, and unfortunately the only thing that Benewake will tell you is that you have to purchase the CE30C and won't let you exchange and pay the difference (although I've been looking into the device and it appears to be using a beaglebone with linux installed so depending on if its missing hardware or if its just device configuration its potentially possible to have your cake and eat it too). Please keep in mind, the cake could be a lie..
Does anyone know if this is the A (USB/CAN) or C (Ethernet) model? Can we choose? The CAN/TCP in the spec is throwing me.
I'd really prefer the Ethernet model, as it's supposed to generate a point cloud, rather than just the position of the closest obstacle.
DaehderGiven the MSRP they list, the photos and Stotchlab's comment I am inclined to say this is the A model.
A model C should have an MSRP of $1200 and the D is $1500. Still it would be nice to get MD confirmation confirmation.
When did MD loose the drop "progress" bar that clued you into to how many had been sold or signed up for? If this needs 3+ to go thru, it would be helpful to know how close it is to meeting that criteria. No sense getting my hopes up if there are not going to be enough other members in on the drop to make it a success.
Is this the CE30-A or -C model?
