Decent little guy
Groove pattern on the handle scales give a lot of grip but can be slightly uncomfortable to some. Detent is strong on mine but I don't mind since it produces a fast complete open every time. Otherwise its another nice folder from Bestech

I received my tan Grampus with the satin blade which was razor sharp when delivered and the sculpted G10 scales are beautiful with just the right amount of grip and the ball bearing pivot provides for the smoothest buttery action when deployed also just the right amount of gimping at the base of the spine of the blade and lastly the lanyard hole/glass breaker/skull crusher at the base of the knife finish off this beauty. Great knife, I purchased two of them. It has a smooth action, is razor sharp, and has a killer grip. I buy my Dad a cool knife every year or two and the last Kershaw lost its pivot retaining screw. He replaced it with some kind of home-engineering, but it was never the same - too much blade play, no spring assist, etc... Those are ok knives, and Bestech seems to run along the same affordable, EDC recipe. I inspected the Grampus pretty well before gifting it, and I believe this should hold up a little better than the other.

Honestly, My only gripe at all with my Bestech collection is the size and weight. Fantastic knives, but it would be nice if they were 25% lighter and smaller. For EDC the Grampus is just too big and heavy. But WHAT a knife! Built like a tank!

Excellent working knife, very sharp out of the box. Feels very solid in all aspects of knife use. I have been carrying it everyday since I received it. However, as an "Every Day Carry" knife, it is a little too big, too wide and too heavy. The pocket clip end, is too sharp and can be uncomfortable when using the tip of my index finger to pull it up especially when it is on thicker fabric, (Jeans.) Outstanding value for the price.

Got this as a gift for my husband. He likes it very much. It's just about as nice as the Bestech Lion that I have. The Lion is lighter for me, but the Grampus is perfect for the husband. Thanks!
