4.5/5 but that isn't an option so...
This is a really good smaller gentleman's carry. I like the action a lot, it is very snappy, and the dimensions are pretty much perfect for office type carry.
Cuts well, thin stock and ffg, so kind of a given.
The finishing is good, particularly on the blade, and I didn't notice any QC issues on mine.
I wouldn't recommend this over a Chaparral any day of the week, but as far as sleek gentleman's flippers go, it is certainly worth taking a look at, particularly if you like the profile.

Another nice little knife here from Bestech. The action on it is great, detent is perfect. Can't shake it open, but deploys with little effort and a solid snap into place every time. Nice slender handle the fits well in the pocket. I like the deep carry clip. Maybe not the most ergonomic handle in the world, but it's more a gentleman's folder, not a hard use knife anyway.

Happy to see the metal caged bearings again.
And the skeletonized liners (made from a quality stainless, not the cheap feeling pot metal found in some of their other hidden liner knives. I don't believe it's a coincidence... I still think the cheap steel for the lockbar on the other model is part of the reason for the weak detent) Interesting to see the stop pin pressed into the blade on this model, instead of a floating pin like their other models Fit and finish is just about perfect, just knocking off a star for a couple minor bits: I'd like to see the inside edges of the G10 eased at the factory, it's a bit sharp on the fingertip when flipping. And this was my first bestech where I wasn't impressed with the edge out of the box. Acceptable sharp, but uneven grinding and not quite as sharp as the others have been
Overall though, easily recommended

Had this knife now a month or two & surprisingly this has become my favorite EDC. It has good vg10 steel, deep clip & great action. The wafer design is good in pocket & the lock bar is smooth & polished which makes it a perfect all day flipper. The best part is the leaf shape blade. It compliments my left side carry CRKT Achi. I can whip it out....lol & no one feels threaten. I got the green & black one. It works for me & I really am enjoying using it. Not as a baton knife either. FYI

I have several Bestech blades in my EDC rotation as well as several others. This is one of my favorite blades for a few simple reasons. First, the fit and finish are very good. The edges of the scales are rounded and fit well in the hand. The action is also good -- it opens easily and readily snaps into battery. There is no detectable play in the pivot and lockup is good.
Second, the hidden liner works for me. I like the clean look of the combination of hidden liner and G-10 scales.
Third, the lockbar is relieved where it is pressed to release the lock. It's also grooved slightly. That makes a very comfortable release and is a very nice feature. It's also attractive.
Fourth, I like VG-10 steel for a utility blade. It's in the middle ground for blade steels. Mine was sharp enough from the factory but the edge was improved with a little work on the strop and will be very nice after I run it through a honing cycle on the KME.
As others noted, it's not a hard-use knife but is very handy to have for utility work. It does not look "tactical" and that is an advantage in many locations. However, I have no doubt this blade would be useful in a defensive encounter. Finally, I think this is one of the better offering from Bestech and I am pleased to have it in my EDC rotation.

A simple and boring looking knife. It feels good in my hand and I like the blade profile. The transition between the two G10 colors is tight. The construction is very good. The flipper tab is smaller than most of my others but works well. The lock release is wide and has a good positive feel. I would like to see the jimping extended out further on the spine. I'm happy with it and expect it to be a good EDC.

Great, except for the clip.
Love the feel and performance of the knife. Stopped carrying it because of the clip.

Great fit
I love the size as it fits well in my pocket. I dont always like using the clip with dress pants so I can’t carry anything too large. The handle feels a little too plastic for me and slippery but I’m not a hard user....at least with this knife. I have others for that.

Beautiful and useful knife
Very sharp right out of the box, fairly light for it's size and easy open and close. Blade has enough belly for slicing. Overall I am very pleased with this product.
