I love love this board. I'm a quilter and wash and iron my fabric before using it. This board lets me iron a full half yard on the board, and it's MUCH easier for larger pieces. HOWEVER, it needs a very solid ironing board. I've been using it for several months and while my board could hold it, it squeaked and didn't feel real solid. A couple days ago, one of the single metal legs of my board just folded and the board would have collapsed if I hadn't been ironing and caught it. I've got a sturdier (and more expensive) ironing board on the way. I consider it worth it.
