I have these, they're sonically identical to the SoundMAGIC P30 (Beyer often subcontracts SoundMAGIC to make their low-end stuff). Very fun sound. Good sub-bass hump to cut through engine noise on public transport, and an overall warm and detailed signature. Compared to my Brainwavz HM5s, the bass is more impactful, a little tighter, the mids are warmer and seem slightly veiled in comparison, instruments like brass have more impact and electric guitars have more attack, treble is more sibilant (duh, it's a Beyer) and a little recessed but doesn't extend as far as the Brainwavz. Soundstage is smaller but this is to be expected from an on-ear design. Imaging seems a little lacklustre sometimes, and it can hurt instrument separation on conjested tracks, but maybe I've just been spoilt by the vast, well-separated Brainwavz.
miledThank you, miled! Great review. Could you please also comment on the build quality? I found some amazon reviews saying it's not very good. I'm kind of on the fence of getting this for office use and selling my Bose QC15.
