This is like 10 dollars off, the Hobby store near me sells these for 200 bucks. Definitely not worth the wait. Step up your game Massdrop.

then why we're they approached by a company that boasts 70% discounts? As a disappointment, or so you can argue with me?
FurriousLynx
70%? I haven't seen a Drop anywhere near 70%, ever. It's usually like 10%

this from: http://www.danscraftsandthings.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=503263 (at the bottom)
I have seen this from many other websites, saying ti requires a ham radio license ... due to the FPV part.
does this require a HAM radio license to operate???? If so, you might want to let the buyers know that.
$189 huh? Maybe you should rename your site.

it comes with the motors that are supposed to be on it. VERY MISLEADING to advertise this way...
FlyLow
they are comparing it to motors of the non-FPV version.

THE BEST ROASTS OF 2026

Lol burn.
I've built a tiny whoop, which is basically the "unofficial" version of this quad. Absolute fun, guaranteed. Indoors? Sure. Outdoors? Yep!
Seriously, I love these things.
Vexs
I just got the last parts for my tiny whoop build (the motors), just need to assemble everything and I'll be joining you in the skies! :)
I've never flown the FPV version but the non-FPV version is a blast to fly and really easy for beginners due to its auto-stabilize feature. It only lasts 5-6 minutes per charge though so I would have to assume this wouldn't last even that long.
I would join he drop it it was for the BNF. I have a DX6 transmitter and FPV goggles. I don't need the full setup; only the drone. Retail for the BNF version is $99.00
JoelLukacher
Agreed, A BNF option with the ground station would be ideal.
To those who are not into quads. Yes, this thing is expensive for its size, and doesn't have a long batter life... BUT! It is AMAZINGLY fun to fly (so I've heard and seen on video, so I may have to jump in on this drop)
krugerlive
*the reason why it is expensive is because it includes fpv. If you wanted, you could probably rip this out and get some parts to reuse for other things.
Is there more details on the display for the ground station? The quad has good reviews, but can be get brand, resolution, etc on the display?
SilverBullet
Hi silverbullet.
The ground station supplied with the Inductrix is the Spektrum 4.3in video monitor, its listed under "features" & "included" on the drop page. Here is a link to the product's page :
