Originally made in the 1950s, the Chambord French press from Bodum has withstood the test of time. Brewing coffee in it is simple: just scoop coarse coffee grinds into the chamber, followed by hot water. Let the mix sit for 4 to 5 minutes, then press the plunger down to filter out the grounds. The entire brewing cycle takes less than 5 minutes. The thick borosilicate glass jug retains heat throughout the brewing process, all while offering you a full view of the coffee being made. The stainless steel frame and lid undergo a plating process of several steps to achieve a lustrous finish.
