I have the version of this with the timer, purchased at William-Sonoma a number of years ago. In the beginning it worked well, but over time it's started to fail in a variety of ways:
  1. The coffee in the carafe isn't very hot, even just after it finishes.
  2. Water leaks from the reservoir, leaving a mess on the counter.
  3. Can't wash the carafe in the dishwasher, otherwise water gets between the insulated layers.
I'm quite curious to try the Technivorm Moccamaster or the Breville Precision Brewer.
