Was really hoping this would be with the new style scales.

Reaperv4xYep, the contoured scales are a necessary upgrade in my opinion.

absitI looked at it and, without knowing other scales were available, thought to myself - man, those need to be shaped.

SawatchFactoryI dig the look but I didn't think I would like the feel after handling a number of blades with his 3D scales, but these EDC versions grew on me - they're smoother than they look but very grippy. I still prefer the 3D, but I see the appeal here - I think the big seller here is the full flat grind on M390.

JonasHeinemanWell now I went and looked at the 3D scales and they look TOO contoured.

Reaperv4xI own one without the contoured scales/this one and it's actually not bad.

anonomousIndeed. But for the extra price you might as well just purchase it direct and you can customize it as you wish.

Reaperv4xVery true I actually purchased my direct through Bradford and instead of the scales I went for the nimbus coating and an aftermarket sheath
