I do not know who has the money for this but hey more power to you. Also doesn't look worth it to me.

mario.d.garcia.mgI own quite a few watches from mid tier Seiko to Omega to Rolex. Not only is this watch worth it, but a bargain if it includes a stamped warranty card. Would you spend big money on a supercharger for your car or a custom built PC? It's the same situation...

sprk1Can you clarify the importance of the stamped warranty card? Does that just mean it is covered by manufacturer?

WhichwaydidheGoSure thing!
First of all if you buy a new watch on the grey market vs an authorized dealer and the watch is defective you'll have to deal with aftermarket warranties which are generally atrocious and sometimes shorter. Trust me, you do NOT want to deal with Joomashop vs Rolex or Omega directly on warranty issues.
Second, sometimes GM sellers sell semi new watches as returns, QA rejects that don't show blemishes, and so on. A warranty card from an AD guarantees you'll be getting what you're paying for.
Third, having full paperwork will guarantee a better resell value. Most watch people would not buy a watch at used pricing without a valid warranty card. No warranty card means it's a lot harder to prove the watch is genuine.
As a general rule watch collectors and conosieours will either buy watches new from an authorized dealer or used from a reputable seller. The only exception would be deals like this drop. Lower price than a AD, but with a stamped warranty.

sprk1Thanks So a stamped card means it is a valid warranty/genuine product. Making this a good drop. As a neophyte, I don't like chronographs and this is to rich for me but I am glad to see Massdrop getting quality buys like this.

Neither. Cars kill more people in this country than all the shootings, bombings, and stabbings combined. They should be banned. As for custom built PCs, I am not a child so I do not play video games.

WhichwaydidheGoIn general yes. I for example buy most of my watches used 'like new' from rolex and omega forums. But a buddy of mine only buys AD new because he values the experience of buying the watch.
