Anyone know if the acid wash on the D2 might be prone to surface rust or whatever it's called

ThatGuy333It's titanium, won't rust. Titanium does not oxidize.

ThatGuy333The wash on the blade will help protect it. One use of acid wash is to create a patina on the blade or any metal. As ThatGuy333 already stated the titanium will not rust

ThatGuy333i would not recommend the acid stonewashed finish if you live somewhere that is very humid. If it was just acid wash it would help protect the steel a bit. The stone washing buts tons of little tinny dimples on the surface of the steel. If you don't keep it coated in oil moisture can get trapped in there and start to cause pitting. Like on a gun thar goes to long with out oil on it...
