Hi folks! For those who want more information about the spices, I've included some more details on flavor profiles and suggested uses below. Add a comment if there are any Qs I can answer!
Sweet Allspice Berries Characteristic smoky warmth, reminiscent of toasted almonds and baked fruit. It’s a perfect addition to spiced holiday desserts like pumpkin or apple pie, adds depth and complexity to beverages like cocktails, chai masala, or hot chocolate, and even works well with meat dishes like chili, bolognese or curries. Zanzibar Black Peppercorns Most black peppercorns are harvested while still green, and the drying process gives them their distinctive dark skin. Ours are allowed to ripen on the vine before being hand-picked and sun-dried, resulting in a rich chocolate-colored peppercorn berry with dense wrinkles and a bright, fruity spiciness. Cloud Forest Green Cardamom Our cardamom is grown on one of the only single-estate cardamom farms in Guatemala, which is also one of the only farms to manage the supply chain in its entirety, from cultivation to harvesting, drying and export. Our green cardamom is bright and pungent, with warm notes of ginger and pine. Silk Chili Flakes These summery, sweet and spicy silk chili come from Kahramanmaras, Turkey, where the traditional drying and grinding process results in a chili flake with a very smooth, slippery texture. Historically, the chilis were ground using heavy silk ropes, and although more modern grinding machines are used today, the tradition is commemorated in the name silk chili. They have a warm, tomato-like flavor and a medium heat. Black Urfa Chili Flakes Our black chili comes from Urfa, Turkey, where it has been grown and cured for centuries. It has a rich, malty flavor with a lingering burn. The chilis ripen to a deep maroon color, then sun-dried during the day and wrapped tightly in fabric at night. This technique cures the pepper in its own juices and gives it a deeper, umami flavor and beautiful dark color. Great in stews, tomato sauces, salad dressings, brownies and other desserts, or just sprinkled over fluffy scrambled eggs. Cinnamon Verum (Ground) Our Zanzibar true cinnamon is bright and sweet, with notes of pine, citrus peel and sea salt. Our ground cinnamon is made from older branches and has rich, oaky molasses undertones and forward sweetness and warm spice. The cinnamon is hand-cut and sun-dried to order throughout the year to guarantee the freshest and most intense flavor.  Pemba Cloves Zanzibar has some of the oldest clove trees in the world, and Zanzibari cloves have a significantly higher percentage of essential oils (15-18%) than other clove producers. Their essential oil content is so high that they are used locally as a natural substitute for anesthesia. They are bright, sweet and very spicy, with rich loamy warmth and a numbing menthol buzz. Their island terroir lends a touch of salt and fragrant notes of eucalyptus and tropical flowers. Mediterranean Coriander This is an ancient varietal of coriander seed grown, as it has been for thousands of years, in Denizli, Turkey. It has a savory, herbal flavor, in contrast to our Egyptian White Coriander, which has a lighter, more citrusy flavor. Wild Mountain Cumin Seeds Our wild mountain cumin seeds are tiny, oblong and black with long stems. Although botanically distinct from common cumin (Cuminum cyminum), our wild mountain cumin is renowned in Afghanistan and throughout central and south Asia for its delicious flavor as well as its medicinal properties. It has a savory, penetrating aroma and bright, umami flavor evocative of grilled meats and sweet caramelized onions. This cumin grows wild and is harvested - we are the only place you can get this amazing cumin! Desert Fennel The fennel is grown by smallholder farmers in central Egypt, in an oasis west of the Nile where ancient canal systems divert the Nile's waters to irrigate the fields. The fennel has a unique flavor, slightly salty and mineral because of the sandy desert soil, with a sharp vegetal sweetness at the finish. Wild Red Juniper Berries Our wild red juniper berries are harvested in the Taurus Mountains of Turkey. They're herbal and sweet with notes of pine and goji berries. Great for braised meats, cocktails, and teas. Stone Nutmeg (in the shell) Our nutmeg comes still in its natural shell, which keeps it fresher for longer. Crack it open with a pair of tongs or a nutcracker and grate the nutmeg fresh - you'll be holding some of the best nutmeg in the world, harvested by hand, dried in the sun and delivered directly to your kitchen. Smoked Pimenton Paprika Our smoked paprika is sourced from a single fabrica in Extremadura, a hot, dry region of western Spain. Many countries produce versions of smoked paprika, but only Extremadura has been granted the Designation of Protected Origin for the uniqueness and historical tradition of its pimentón de la vera. Sweet, locally-grown red pimentón peppers are slowly dried over oak coals, which imbue them with a rich, smoky flavor that imparts a savory depth and gorgeous color to any dish.  Blue Poppy Seeds Our sweet and floral blue poppy seeds are harvested in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey's center of opium poppy cultivation for millennia. Perfect for adding a rich, nutty flavor to baked goods and pastries, but also for adding texture and richness to savory dishes like roasted vegetables and fish, salad dressings, dips and anything else you can think of. Cured Sumac Our spectacular cured sumac is grown in Gaziantep, Turkey, where instead of being dried, it is chopped and packed in salt to preserve it. It has a bright, sour, salty and slightly fermented flavor, and is one of our most popular spices among top restaurant chefs. It makes a perfect topping for anything from hummus to salad to roasted veggies or meat to scrambled eggs. Ayurvedic Turmeric Sweet, floral flavor without the metallic bitterness found in lower quality turmeric, and is perfect for both sweet and savory applications, in curries and other dishes as well as in turmeric teas and lattes.

I got the Urfa Chili and Smoked Paprika from them at Maker Faire, and wow, powerful, amazing flavors. I also got their peppercorns, but I've been foolishly letting my grinder run out what I have in it currently, rather than dumping and replacing ;-)
ChaostrophyAwesome, thanks for the kind words. If you have a moment, we'd love to get you to leave a review on our site - even just a copy paste of what you wrote here.

Interested but the international shipping is more than the product itself. Shame.

These just arrived yesterday and I couldn’t wait to start trying them out. So far I’ve only tried the cinnamon on some apples and sumac on some avocado. I’m very impressed. The cinnamon has a really warm flavor and the texture is so fine. The sumac is really unique and I want to start adding it to everything. Haven’t even tried it yet but the cardamom smells SO GOOD.
I think I’m set on spices for a while but I would definitely get more of these as gifts. All six of my spices came really well packaged too!
jeaninesThanks, Jeanines!! Glad to hear the feedback. The sumac is wonderful on eggs, hummus, baba ganoush, roast veggies, salads and more. Use it as a finishing spice and add it after cooking. The cinnamon is great on oatmeal, cakes, or even lamb or a pumpkin curry.
If you have a moment to spare, would love for you to leave us a review. Cinnamon: https://www.burlapandbarrel.com/collections/all/products/ground-cinnamon-verum Sumac: https://www.burlapandbarrel.com/collections/all/products/cured-sumac

Ugh International shipping is $4.2x more than the item, $38.24 shipped, unfortunate.
Hi Massdrop community!! We added two new spices to this drop that we're pretty excited about:
Cobanero Chili Our cobanero chili is a rare Mayan variety of chili pepper, only grown in the mountains around the city of Cobán in Guatemala. It has a lush, fruity aroma and a fierce, smoky heat that makes everything taste better. Perfect for anyone who appreciates true chili flavor. They're SO good - fruity like a peach, sweet, slightly smoky, and brightly spicy. Use caution - at 30,000-50,000 in Scoville units, these chilis pack a punch, they're spicier than serrano peppers and in the same range as cayenne peppers.
Toasted Sesame Seeds Our toasted sesame seeds come from an organic farm in the Fayoum oasis in central Egypt, where they have been cultivated for over 3000 years. Great on bread and baked goods, they're also a perfect topping for roasted vegetables, stir fries and salads.

Why isn't cinnamon an option at checkout?
isaachUnfortunately, we're out of cinnamon at the moment! Our partner farmers in Zanzibar are getting ready for the next harvest, so we'll get a new shipment next month or two. :)

infinexHmm, so I just watched the epicurious video and it says that "good" turmerics should have minimum 3.75% curcumin and this has 4%, just in case anyone else is wondering.

I get that glass bottles need to be packed well, but $8 shipping nixes this deal. I should probably just drive to my local Penzey's, though I know not everyone has that option.
