Designed for mountaineering and glacier travel, the CAMP XLC crampons help you keep your footing on ice and hard-packed snow. Each pair features a lightweight 12-point design, a 3D-pressed frame, and CC4U wear indicators on the side points that show when it’s time for a replacement. The automatic bindings fit most rigid mountaineering, A/T, and telemark boots, while the semi-automatic bindings fit most semi-rigid mountaineering boots and the universal bindings fit most mountaineering and hiking boots. While sturdy, the aluminum crampons aren’t suitable for ice climbing or intensive mixed terrain. For those, opt for the Nanotech models, which add Sandvik Nanoflex steel reinforcements to the front points for increased durability, strength, and penetration on hard ice.
