Awe thanks! I live in bed-stuy. No worries if not, though! Also, if the large happens to be too big for me would it be possible for me swap to a medium?
HipsterTrout
No problem! Either way works -- we usually ship out from our warehouse for Massdrop customers, so you'll get it pretty soon after the drop anyway. And if an exchange is needed we have the inventory on hand locally so that can be done pretty quick too. Just shoot us a note info@casavva.com and we'll get it sorted out for you! Btw, big fans of Bed-Stuy, our shirts are made near Gowanus.
Note to model: Please stop.
Got real excited when I saw that it was an American made button up, but lost all interest when I saw dry clean only... What a shame...

I'll take that as a thank you.
Oh-as if we were taking about one of Jay Gatsby's silk dress shirts as he tossed them in the air to Daisy! It's a damn flannel shirt--buy it a size or two bigger and shrink the shit out it! You think Kurt Cobain and Paul Bunyan spent a lot of time dialing up the Gentles Cycle, or hang'n around at the Dry Cleaners?! If Cassaba shirts can't take a week of real life, buy a damn Carhartt shirt ;- )
Anyone have any pictures of them wearing one?
Update on the shirt: it's very warm and sturdy, fits as expected, and gets positive comments from my girlfriend every time she sees it.
Woohoo! We're really glad to hear that! For a small business like ours, it's compliments like this that make our day and keep us working hard to deliver value. Contact us here or at info@casavva.com whenever you need!

I was surprised--just bought it as a warm practical shirt, and hadn't known it would get so much attention. Gray, by the way.
The description is a bit confusing. Is the shirt a flannel shirt (soft, fuzzy, bulky) or more of a flat, woven, non-pilling oxford style?
MishaX
Apologies for the confusion! It is indeed a flannel shirt -- it is soft (very comfortable worn directly against the skin), a bit fuzzy (has subtle napping on both sides), and a non-flimsy, medium-heavy weight (6.4oz/yard fabric). Let us know if that helps, thanks for pointing it out.
I want to order Mustard Medium size, but it seems to be gone, is there anyway I can still make order ?

looks like the mustard medium is out again, is there any chance this will be in a future drop?
coffeequeer
oh wow, didn't even know this drop came back..... yup missed it again :(
@casavva I received my shirt from the drop previous to this. Unfortunately, it's a size too large. Am I able to make an exchange for a smaller size?

I'm a bit worried if I got the right size, good to know you guys are able to help out. Hopefully all good.
AJC_87
you bet - we're absolutely committed to getting you in the best shirt we can :)
what's the "hidden" pocket
rjp000
There is a small pocket inside the left chest pocket that is perfectly fitted to the dimensions of a credit card. It is discrete and secure - perfect for 1-2 cards of your choice. We like having a metro card in there, so as not to fumble with a wallet every time we are going through metro turnstiles in New York.

also great for stashing all your drugs
An overpriced shirt at an overpriced discount. If you have the money to spend on this, what is $50? ahahahaa

What unique color and patterns. I'm anti hipster, and love Duluth Trading Company most of all. These look great I got a heavy woven dress/work shirt, their Calvary Shirt. It is my favorite shirt I can wear it with dress jeans to work, or hiking or working on the garage. This Casavva can do those jobs I imagine. I'd say $80 is well worth a unique pattern. The troll makes me want to buy one and wear it hiking and to the office. Perhaps troll was surprised to see a dude with a bow tie modeling as I was too. I picture a Denver-ite hiking in this after work. Cool shirts. I like Mustard and red and dark Grey best.
Just saw this, ahahahahahaha I don't buy clothes from walmart. I look down on walmart, hence the example.
These shirts look great, but I checked their website and they only go up to XL, which doesn't work for me. Would love to buy at least a couple of these in XXL, if that size ever becomes available.

bought a shirt from another vendor, problem solved.

Sorry that we couldn't service your needs this time, but great to hear that you found something!
lost me at 'dry clean only'.
pucklermuskau
The recommendation is dry clean, but machine wash cold and line dry/gentle cycle actually works fine as well. Just make sure not to torture it on high heat in the dryer and you should be ok.
pucklermuskau
Ha! My exact thoughts too
Will you be launching a women's line in the near future?

Unfortunately $90 is a bit much at this time in my life, so I can't, but thank you :D
BlueCrowned
totally understand! thank you for inquiring and being supportive nonetheless :) feel free to drop us a line at info@casavva.com regardless and we'll keep you posted on our developments on the women's side. we're actually really interested to hear the opinions of prospective customers to guide us!
When will you be launching more colors?
gc2452
We add new colors twice a year, Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. But we generally try to keep a curated collection of 6-9 colors at any given time. It helps us to create a sense of a design collection and allows us to have a well managed production/supply chain.
How's the fit of these shirts? They look to be more of a classic fit, not too slim?

Our sleeves lean towards the long side because it would be easier for us to reduce the length of the sleeves if they are too long for someone.
GlenTennis
Sometimes our customers also like to wear an undershirt with the flannels.
Professor Bow-Tie does not approve of what you just did. He knows you can do better.
"optic lenses cloth" is pretty funny; But why in the world would a cotton shirt be dry clean only? That's a pretty big hassle.

Funny? It's amazing! It ought to be standard. My lenses are a mess from cleaning with t-shirts over the years. Time for a new pair.
BlueCrowned
oh it definitely seems like a great idea, I do this with sunglasses all the time, but the way they marketed it instead of just calling it a sunglasses cleaner made me laugh
Can someone comment to the weight of these shirts? It does say 100% cotton but not the ounces involved here.
avblahblah
The weight is 6.4oz/yard - that's on the medium-heavy side. A bit more substantial than a typical button-down, but also light enough that it's not in the jacket terrain.
