Dear DROP, STOP selling "CCCP" watches or other products with the name of that terrible soviet communist country, which killed hundreds millions of people!!! It is the same, as you would sell watches with NAZI german signs.

Talk about a human-rights violation--I understand when prisoners were sent to the Gulag (the infamous labor camps of the former Soviet Union), in addition to the bad food and harsh Siberian weather, those prisoners selected for especially cruel punishment were actually forced to wear these beastly watches!

Judging from the comments, I’m obviously not the only one who has a problem with a watch brand that commemorates the Soviet Union.
Maybe the brand wanted to celebrate cultural heritage of a group of people at a time when the Soviet Union existed, rather than the USSR itself, but in that case it is a poor choice of name brand to boldly display on one’s wrist.

Go to ashford. They have these cccccccxcxpppppp watches for $50-$65 depending on model.
Yet another fail from incompetent watch department at Drop the ball.

I'm not sure why everyone is so up in arms over the brand name... don't like it, don't buy it. Vostoks are Russian. 70% of the other watches out there are Chinese....I guess these same people are just going to buy Swiss made time pieces ( You know since Japan was an enemy in world war II and all).
