Oh man I've always wanted to get one of these! But I heard that you only need these for a power hungry headphones like the hifiman he-6. I have the hifiman he400 and the el-8 so I bought the mini-m8 instead and wow I just never heard my music sound that good. So clear and the soundstage.. Wow! That's why I'm wondering if I would be better off with this. It might be a better sounding dac-amp because of its power.

moises13456HiFi-M8 adds tone controls and many people like them. Other than that, it is indeed more powerful and can drive more headphones. But Mini-M8 is also a good all around piece, with 4 inputs and its slightly smaller size.

TheRealVladthey wont even contact the company until it hits 200 requests so prob awhile. There are plenty of them used on head fi if you would want to go there.
