A pilot’s watch with tons of features, the Citizen Aviator works well in both active and formal settings. A chronograph and compass in addition to a regular timekeeper, the Aviator does triple duty Read More
Actually, I like the BLACK dial! If I didn't already have a Seiko Flightmaster, I'd probably go for this drop.
Couple of points for the "OMG 44mm is huge" crowd: on a watch like this, with a dial as busy and complicated, bigger is better--assuming you actually want to read all the data it's capable of displaying, particularly in low light, and especially with eyes approaching forty-ish (or more ;- )
AGAIN Citizen releases a beautifully-designed watch that I will not purchase because of the mineral crystal. I really don't understand why they continue to use mineral in "sports" watches that are meant to withstand at least a wee bit of abuse. Heck, my Citizen Brycen obtained a deep scratch when my arm just brushed against a wall. Too bad, because I truly loved the design and the eco drive quartz movement was both accurate and reliable, specially on extended trips out of town. I really wouldn't mind paying a little extra for the convenience of a sapphire crystal, and until Citizen begins to offer sapphire crystals on their lower-end watches, this will continue to be a deal-breaker for me.
Over-ConsumerThanks! I guess that I could send it off and get it replaced for around $60, but I'd rather not have to wait for it to get done, or worse, void the warranty!
Sorry, didn't notice the date, but it seems like this is one of several you have posted lately. Regardless, let's keep some perspective, shall we? This is a watch forum - there are numerous places you can spout your political views and people will either agree with you or argue, but this ain't it. Nobody here really cares about your politics (or mine either, for that matter).
