If you live in Florida, this watch is for you. If you are in northern state, you would need to keep it under a lamp to keep it running.

The initial price is just so overdone. Just a search on Amazon and I found it at 115 $ ( Europe). This practice don't incitate me to spread my money here.

I just ordered the black one for my son. He is 14 and (like Dad) loves watches, but never had a nice one. This will be the nicest one he's owned. I am partial to the blue, but he doesn't like silver, so I got him the black. I might have to borrow it...

What's used for "lume?" Some sort of phosphor paint? (more than likely) How long does it glow?

I really like the band on this watch. It looks like the cotton duck fabric from a Carhartt jacket or dungarees.
Wish I didn't have to wait until the 29th though! Still at this price...

CalaverasgrandeI like the look of it too, but a more durable version of the same look would be something in Sailcloth. They're not common or cheap, but they are available and probably worth the upgrade for a strap that will see a lot of use.
