What's the difference between BJ7017-59E and BJ7000-52E ?
And are you sure BJ7017-59E is the correct model number ? I can't find any google hits on it, it's either BJ7010-59E or BJ7017-50E, both of which are mentioned as alternate model numbers for BJ7000-52E. Citizenwatch.com also only lists the BJ7000-52E; the other two model numbers aren't listed.

TigoleIt appears the 59E is the Euro/Asia model. Slight cosmetic differences and the caseback is raised vs laser-etched for the US model (52E) . http://forums.watchuseek.com/f305/citizen-eco-drive-promaster-nighthawk-pilot-bj7010-59e-280934.html

NMorrisThanks, though to be clear, those links are referring to the BJ7010-59E. So I guess MD made a mistake labeling it BJ7017-59E.

NMorrisWas just about post this myself. Nice breakdown. The BJ7000 is the US market version and the BJ7010 is the Asian market version. The US market version has "Nighthawk" text printed on the dial. And as @NMorris pointed out, the Asian market version has an engraved caseback. Also, there are a few smaller differences, like the US market version has a slightly raised 12 and 6 numeral and a slightly sportier lume pattern.
@Tigole Good catch. Thanks for pointing this out. We had it as 7010 on our checkout page, but it was 7017 on our description page. I just updated it to the correct reference number.
